To the Editor:
The press is our friend. Without it, we would not be informed about events that are important to us. A prime example of this is the upsetting news about our veterans’ hospitals. Now that the word is out, corrections can be made.
As a World War II veteran, I am thankful that our local veterans’ hospital has not been guilty of mistreatment to me or any of my veteran friends. The service I have received has been excellent and I have never had a problem making appointments.
