Velma L. (Wall) Montella, 81, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at HPH Hospice Care in Brooksville, Florida. She was the wife of the late Lucio T. Montella Jr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis S. and Hazel S. (Marsh) Wall. She was a retired crossing guard for the City of Warwick.
Velma was the beloved mother of Robert S. Prout; loving grandmother of Corey T. Prout, Robert A. Prout and Elizabeth A. Camara; and loving great-grandmother of Brody and Phoenix.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 28 at 8:30 a.m. in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
