William Voet, 96, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home. He was the loving husband of Margaret C. (Dina) Voet for sixty-three years. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, he was the son of the late William and Alida (Beutick) Voet.
William proudly served in the Royal Armed Forces of the Netherlands during World War II and went on to work as a Mechanical Engineer for the Leviton Manufacturing Company until his retirement.
In addition to his wife Margaret, he is survived by his beloved daughters Monique Susan Miller of Michigan and Yvonne Carmen (Steven) of Warwick, and five cherished grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Cornelius Voet and Marghrita Doojiweert.
A Graveside Committal Service took place on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Rd, North Kingstown. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
