Betty M. (Kilguss) Wagner, 92, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2024. She was the wife of the late Roy T. Wagner. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie Kilguss.

Betty is survived by her loving children, Roy T. Wagner Jr. and his wife Janet, Curt Wagner and his husband Christopher Megale, and Susan Voorhees and her husband Edward. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren, Ryan Wagner and his wife Lauren, Lauren Johnston and her husband Nicholas, Lily Megale, Luca Timoll, Matthew Voorhees and his wife Kaitlyn, Wesley Voorhees and his wife Leslie, Tyler Voorhees, and his wife Melissa, and seven great-grandchildren.

Betty had a zest for life and loved to stay busy in her many careers as a teacher, social worker, realtor, and her favorite career of being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also loved to golf, knit, play bridge, entertain, travel, and bake. Betty’s favorite hobby of all was time spent talking and laughing with family and friends. When she was asked for help from anyone, she always said “yes.”

Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to samaritanspurse.org.
