The following was provided in a press release by the Warwick Police Department:
The Warwick Police were contacted by a staff member at the Impossible Dream playground. The staff member advised the police that a juvenile female had left a tip on the Impossible Dream Facebook page as to who had vandalized the property.
Warwick Police detectives investigated the tip. They were able to recover video that was posted on the internet of two juvenile males at the playground on the night of the vandalism.
The juveniles were questioned and admitted to doing the damage. Additionally, they admitted to taking a three wheeled bicycle from the playground. The bicycle was returned to the impossible dream.
Both juvenile males responsible for the damage were Warwick residents. They were each charged with one count of Vandalism 11-44-1, and released to their parents.
