“There was a whole bunch of people who had smiles on their faces because of what you did,” Mayor Scott Avedisian said Thursday to the Warwick Continental Little League 11-year-old State Championship Team as they gathered in City Council Chambers. He went on to say their teamwork is a valuable life lesson that will serve them for years. He presented the team with citations and Warwick hats as parents and family gathered to get the picture. Team members are: Tyler Amore, Jeremy Ashman, Dylan Aunchman, Tyrell Bernal, William Cornicelli, Jack Gannon, Caden Haley, Alex Maker, Greyson Pasquina, Mason Provoyeur, Aaron Sherlock, A.J. Ucci and Aidan Warrener. The team manager is Mike Gannon. Coaches are John Amore and Armand Ucci. (Warwick Beacon photos)
