March 5 was an exciting day for Holliman Elementary School, as watercolor artist, Sue Greco, paid the school a special visit.
Greco shared her talents with students in grades 2-6 who demonstrate a special interest in art. One painting from this session will be hung at an exhibit hosted by URI's Feinstein building in Providence. The art session was funded by Alan Shawn Feinstein and is a result of our good deeds by Holliman Students.
During her visit, Sue Greco, also presented the Holliman Library with a copy of her new watercolor art book, entitled Kids Best Watercolor Lessons. This book is dedicated to Feinstein Schools, and their teachers and junior scholars. This book is also available for purchase at Twice Told Tales on Broad Street in Cranston.
Holliman School was the first of many areas schools to take advantage of this Feinstein opportunity.
