Warwick West Side Little League’s new travel softball program, S.W.A.T., hosted its first-ever tournament over the weekend at Belmont Park. The event was for U-10 squads. S.W.A.T. finished in fourth place. The New England Nightmare won the title, Ravens Gold finished in second place, the Shrewsbury Shockers took third and Ravens Purple finished fifth. S.W.A.T. will host two more tournaments later in the season, a U-16 event in early August and a U-12 tourney later that month.
