Roger Williams Park Zoo’s Public Relations has received numerous inquiries as to whether it will be affected by the federal shutdown. Managed and supported by the non-profit Rhode Island Zoological Society and owned by the city of Providence, the Zoo’s operations are not affected by the shutdown. The Zoo remains open and the Jack-O-lantern Spectacular will open as planned this Thursday, Oct. 3.
