Auctions to benefit Alliance for Better Long Term Care

Posted

The 16th annual spring silent auction spectacular, supporting the Alliance for Better Long Term Care Foundation, benefits the mission of helping the most vulnerable population throughout the state. The online silent auction begins Thursday, April 6th – with the live event set for Thursday, April 13, 5:30 to 9:30 pm, at the Warwick Country Club 394 Narragansett Bay Avenue, in Warwick.

Sponsors and advertisers are being recruited NOW to support the event.

According to the ABLTC Foundation’s Board President, Rita Martin, funds raised help the most vulnerable people throughout the state. The Foundation achieves this through supporting programs, services, outreach and support to the elderly, disabled, financially exploited and neglected.

“We chose to make our silent auction our only main fundraiser this year – we will be focusing all our efforts towards making the Silent Auction Spectacular event the best one yet, preempting the annual Golf Tournament. We have some wonderful items that will attract interest and raise more money to further our work and mission. The Foundation has been very fortunate with the quality of donated items over the years. I am eternally grateful for the continued support of the business community and the public as well.” Martin said.

The auction features sports and movie memorabilia, including autographed photos of local sports legends and Hollywood icons, gift cards to local eateries and services, wines, games, day trips and tickets to events such as plays or ball games.

Those who sign up for the virtual silent auction will have a chance to bid on unique baskets and packages, including gift baskets filled with gift cards to local merchants, restaurants, services and more.

Donations and/or contributions made to The ABLTC Foundation are tax deductible.

Registration for the online portion of the event is free and tickets are available to attend the live event.  To sign up and attend the event go to www.abltc23.givesmart.com or text “abltc23” to 76278. Click on the prompts to complete the process.
