To the Editor:
The Warwick Beacon editorial (11/10/11) entitled, “Lessons from 2 night meetings,” has saddened me beyond belief. To say that the City Council meeting “reached a horror point where the Nazi Gestapo would have been proud,” took my breath away.
Hitler’s Nazi Gestapo was “proud” of the extermination of over 6 million Jews, homosexuals, disabled and the mentally ill, from babies to the aged. Their unspeakable and inhuman barbarism lives in infamy. The undeserved reference was beyond the pale and calls for an apology.
