Christmas trees are starting to pile up at the city compost station behind Mickey Stevens Sports Complex on Sandy Lane. The next chapter in the lives of the trees is a meeting with the grinder that will turn them into chips before transforming into compost. The compost station is open weekdays and on Saturday mornings for those wanting to drop off their trees or yard waste. (Warwick Beacon photo)
