Louis J. Lambert, 92, of Warwick, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Pierina C. (Spertini) Lambert Sr.
A proud United States Marine Corps Retiree, Louis enlisted at the young age of 17 during the Korean War and served overseas during the Vietnam War. He worked his way to become MSGT and was the recipient of many medals prior to his retirement in 1973.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret LaPorte and her husband Alfred Jr.; nephew, Alfred LaPorte III and his wife Paula; niece, Christine Arsenault and her husband Bruce; 5 great-nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great Nephew. Louis was the loving companion partner of the late Catherine Cullen, and brother of the late Arthur Lambert Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to join his Funeral Service on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 10:00am in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, followed by a burial with Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
