Dr. Stanley Carpenter from the Naval War College will deliver the first in a four-part series on the history of Great Britain from the rise of the Tudor Dynasty in 1485 to the War of 1812 at Warwick Public Library on Wednesdays staring October 25. It will continue November 1, 8 & 15. Presentations start at 7 p.m.
On October 25, experience The Tudor Age.
On November 1, brave The British Civil Wars and Oliver Cromwell.
On November 8, witness Great Britain and the Napoleonic Wars.
On November 15, confront Part IV: The War of 1812—Britain vs. the United States.
Stanley D.M. Carpenter is Professor Emeritus at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island and a retired U.S. Naval officer.
