There was a Fire Department ladder truck, police cruisers, DPW equipment, tractors and naturally trucks for the “touch a truck” party hosted Saturday in the Wyman School parking lot by Dist. 31 Sen. Matthew LaMountain. And thankfully, too, as it was hot, there was ice cream and cool drinks. LaMountain had help from his supporters including his mother, Eileen, who is pictured with him. Taking a break in the shade are Matt and Julie Maas and their kids Ben and Nora. And seen after exploring the interior of a police cruiser are Julieanne and Alex Hoder and their son Felix.
