There was a chill in the air Saturday, a reminder that while officially spring has arrived, winter may not have left us yet. Inside one of the Yard Works greenhouses, it was toasty, and seedlings were flourishing as well as potted plants. There to check up on them, as well as help curious customers identify what could beautify their garden – once they’ve grown a lot more – was Paul Duquette. He said the seedlings, like the marigold he is holding, come in trays of 288 plants that have to be transplanted to larger containers. (Warwick Beacon photos)
