A ribbon cutting was held today at Renova Lighting Systems located at 36 Bellair Ave. The electrical/electronic manufacturing company has been in Warwick for many years, but today we welcome the new owners, Jeremy and Jessica Mularski. Renova Lighting provided numerous product categories, including customized linear lighting solutions and LED retrofit kits.

Today I got to stop by and wish another Warwick resident, Eleanor Dansereau, a happy 100th birthday. She is spry and sharp. And she loves birthday cake, specifically chocolate.
Happy Birthday Eleanor, see you next year for your 101st!!!

On behalf of myself and the entire city, I would like to acknowledge and thank the firefighters, fire chiefs, and municipal leaders of East Greenwich, Cranston, Providence, East Providence, Newport, North Kingstown, and West Warwick. Members of these departments came to our city last week and covered our fire stations so that our firefighters could attend the funeral of Captain Patrick Crowley. We are extremely grateful.

It’s time now for our spotlight on small businesses. Today, we take you inside Operation Made located at 1060 Toll Gate Road where its owner is on a mission to help veteran owned and military connected product-based companies grow their businesses.
