Former Mayor Joseph Walsh was among the scores of Democrats – most of them candidates on the ballot – to turn out Sunday for a rally at State Democratic Headquarters at Metro Center in Warwick. The rally featured the call “to get out the vote” from incumbents seeking reelection including House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi . He observed some House races would probably be decided by 50 or fewer votes, making the point for candidates to use every moment they can to campaign. Here Walsh talks with Ward 6 Councilwoman Donna Travis and Verteal Patterson. Lynne Urbani , policy director for the Speaker, wore the jeans that had everyone talking. (Warwick Beacon photos)
