Rhode Island College stayed undefeated and notched its fourth shutout win of the season as the Anchorwomen blanked Curry, 9-0, in collegiate women’s tennis action on Thursday afternoon.
The Anchorwomen have lost just one match out of a possible 45 on the season.
RIC swept all three doubles matches and improved to 15-0 in pairs action in ’22. Senior Jenna Lisi (Cranston) and junior Lauren Macera (Cranston) picked up an 8-0 shutout at No. 1 doubles.
Macera, senior Clara Siegmund (Pomfret, Conn.) and senior Serena Bobola (Cranston) all notched shutout (6-0, 6-0) wins on the day.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will resume Little East action at Southern Maine on Saturday, Oct. 1 (1 p.m.).
