A total of $4,500 raised from the Warwick Rotary Club Turkey Trot held Thanksgiving was donated Thursday to the Rhode Island Disaster Medical Assistance Team's Medical Reserve Corps. The all-volunteer group have run countless Covid-19 vaccination and testing sites beginning with the shutdown in March 2020. Brooke Lawrence, executive director, said the donation would be used for fleeces and jackets for the volunteers.
