The Lakewood Baptist Church recently delivered hundreds of boxes of cereal to Westbay Marketplace run by Westbay Community Action. Lincoln Smith organized the drive in July, setting a goal of 700 boxes of cereal. The total collected was 1,035 boxes, surpassing the April Cereal Challenge by 305 boxes. Smith extended a thank you to Bill Iannotti, pictured here, for helping pack up the cereal. In addition to Lakewood Baptist, assisting in the drive were Pawtuxet Baptist Church, Spring Green Memorial Church and Concordia Center for Spiritual Living. Smith thanked all of those who helped make the drive successful for their generous donations of cereal and donations to buy cereal.
