Traveling Vietnam Wall topic at library veterans coffee social on Aug. 30

The traveling Vietnam Wall that will be displayed at Rocky Point State Park from September 8 - 10  will be the topic at a Veterans Coffee Social at Warwick Public Library on Wednesday, August 30 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Timothy Ruel from Operation Stand Down Rhode Island will talk about his group’s work with homeless and at-risk Rhode Island veterans and their sponsorship of the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) Traveling Wall.

The 360 foot long and eight foot tall wall is an 80 percent reproduction of the Vietnam Memorial and will be open to the public from 8 a.m. on Friday, September 8 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 10.

No registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
