URI Master Gardeners offering tips at library series starting April 19

Posted

Those with green thumbs, or wishing they had them, can pick up tips and techniques from URI Master Gardeners at Warwick Public Library on Tuesdays, April 19 & 26 at 7 p.m.

On April 19, learn about Native Ground Covers and Shrubs with URI Master Gardener Karen Asher. Native plants use less water, require less care, and support native wildlife.

On April 26, find out about Vegetable Gardening with URI Master Gardener Bill Baddelay. Vegetables you grow yourself are the tastiest and usually healthier, too.

The URI Master Gardener Program has taught the latest and best gardening practices to gardeners across Rhode Island since 1977.

For more information, call (401) 739-5440, x9758. The Library is located at 600 Sandy Lane.
