Last Thursday Breeze Airways launched new service from Rhode Island  T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) to Denver International Airport (DEN) available on Thursdays and Sundays. Breeze Airways will increase frequency to four times weekly during the summer travel season of June through early September.

Service to Denver is the latest nonstop route available at PVD. The Rhode Island Airport Corporation also recently welcomed JetBlue’s news of daily service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, beginning on October 28, 2024. Flights to San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) are currently scheduled to depart PVD at 7:00 a.m., with the return flight arriving at 10:24 p.m. in Rhode Island. SJU also offers connecting service to several Caribbean destinations such as St. Croix and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, as well as flights to other airports in Puerto Rico including Culebra, Mayagüez, and Vieques.

Breeze Airways recently launched daily same-plane one-stop flights, called “BreezeThru service”, to Los Angeles and San Diego, California. In addition, Breeze Airways will launch seasonal nonstop flights to Los Angeles on June 13, 2024, offered three times weekly through September 1, 2024.

Beginning on June 8, 2024, Southwest Airlines will also offer two new nonstop routes at PVD, a seasonal Saturday service to Dallas, Texas (DAL/Love Field) that will operate until the end of September and up to four weekly flights to Denver (DEN - Denver International Airport).

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation reminds the public that Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport is also in the running for the Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) Readers’ Choice Awards. Condé Nast Traveler is again offering an exciting giveaway, offering survey participants a chance to win a 13-day journey through Antarctica or a 15-day tour of the Great Lakes with Viking Cruises with an approximate retail value of $30,988. Voting is open now through June 30, 2024, at cntraveler.com/vote.
