Goffredo Dino Carano, 92, died peacefully at the Greenwood Center on June 3, 2024, after a brief illness.
Dino was born in Warwick, RI on November 22, 1931, a son of the late Joseph and Bettina (Santilli) Carano. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960, and was a lifetime sports fan, casino lover, and avid walker after retirement.
Dino is survived by two sisters, Cecelia Gosselin and Linda Carano, and a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Judith Carano, all of Warwick, nine nieces and nephews, and twenty-four grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Maria Mitchell of Middletown.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the Greenwood Center Staff for the compassionate care they always provided to Dino.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30AM – 11:00AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
