Helena Esther Dexter, 82, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Sunny View Nursing Home. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Raymond R. and Fannie C. (Germond) Dexter.
Helena was a graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. She later worked as a Customer Sales Representative for Jay Packaging Corporation. Helena was a dedicated member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Apponaug where she served on the Parish Vestry and Parish Activities Group. She was a member of the ADAH Chapter #15 Order of the Eastern Star.
Helena was predeceased by her siblings, Barbara Rusack, Charles Dexter, and Raymond R. Dexter.
She is survived by her devoted nieces and nephews, Patricia A. Leatherberry (Gary L.) of Warwick, Barbara M. Beaudry (William) of South Carolina, Charles Dexter of Warwick, her niece-in-law, Joyce Dexter of Coventry, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her Requiem Eucharist was celebrated on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 10:00AM at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 3257 Post Road, Warwick. Interment followed at Pawtuxet Memorial Park in Warwick.
