Margaret A. Haley, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

 Born on September 30, 1927 in Providence, she was the daughter of the late M. Edward Haley and Margaret C. (Fitzgibbons) Haley. Margaret was the matriarch of the Haley family, residing on Amsterdam Avenue for 92 years.

 Miss Haley was a graduate of Rhode Island College with a Master’s Degree from Boston University. She was a principal and teacher in the Warwick Public Schools for 38 years retiring in 1986. She was a devoted and founding member of St. Kevin Parish. Margaret leaves behind her sister-in-law Mary Haley, nieces and nephews Bob Haley (Linda), Nancy Haley, Linda Hoopis (Chris), David Haley (Diane), Matthew Haley (Fran), Michael Haley (Jane), Ann Bannon (Jack) and several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward S. Haley, and Robert J. Haley, sister-in-law of the late Jean Haley, aunt of the late Stephen E. Haley and the longtime companion of the late Thomas C. Mee.

 Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Kevin on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 12pm. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI 02889 or Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated. Burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
