A quick trip out of league play wasn’t any kinder than any league play has been for the Pilgrim football team. The Pats traveled to Coventry on Friday night and lost 40-6 in a non-league match-up against the Oakers. The Pats got their lone touchdown from sophomore Owen Kelly. Mike Nolan scored four touchdowns for the Oakers. Pilgrim returns to league play this week with a road game at defending D-II champion Cumberland.
