FIRING IN A COMPACT AREA

Around 9:12 p.m., Oct. 13, Cranston Police Officers arrested Matthew Rodyn, 30, of 94 Hartford Ave., East Providence, for one count of Firing in a Compact Area and one count of Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call in the area of 74 Warren Ave. Rodyn was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

WARRANT ARREST

Around 5:09 p.m., Oct. 13, Cranston Police Officers arrested Henry Rosales, 19, of 41 Woodlawn Ave., Pawtucket, for an active Arrest & Affidavit Warrant issued by the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of 623 Reservoir Ave. Rosales was transferred to the custody of Providence Police, according to Cranston Police.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT & BATTERY

At 3:13 a.m., Oct. 13, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jullion Pope, 30, of 1890 Broad St., No. 108, Cranston, for a previous arrest warrant issued by Cranston Police for Domestic Simple Assault/Battery. Arrest is the result of a pick-up at Pawtucket Police Department. Pope was held awaiting morning arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

RESISTINGARREST

At 6:17 a.m., Oct. 13, Cranston Police Officers arrested Luna Konah, 25, of 42 Dorchester St., Worcester, Massachusetts, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Legal/Illegal arrest. The arrest was the result of a call for a disturbance at 65 Perkins Ave. Konah was held awaiting morning arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS

At 4:57 p.m., Oct. 12, Cranston Police Officers arrested Malachi Stanley, 26, of 9 Beech Tree St., Newport, for Receiving Stolen Goods as a result of a traffic stop on Park Avenue. Stanley was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace, according to Cranston Police.

SHOPLIFTING

Around 1:15 p.m., Oct. 12, Cranston Police Officers arrested Wanda Hassan, 28, of 174 Eldridge St., Cranston, for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a previously issued arrest and affidavit warrant out of the Cranston Police Department stemming from motor vehicle stop in the area of Stop and Shop, at 204 Garfield Ave. Hassan was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

DUI

At 5:06 a.m., Oct. 12, Cranston Police Officers arrested Moises Carrasco, 27, of 32 Stanwood St., 1st Floor, Providence, for DUI (first offense). According to Cranston Police, the “subject blew a .122 and a .132.” BAC (blood alcohol content) during a chemical breath test.  The arrest was the result of a crash investigation at Broad and Narragansett streets. Carrasco was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 4:02 p.m., Oct. 11, Cranston Police Officers arrested Florence Izzo, 59, of 50 Birch St., Apt. 206, Cranston, for Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct as a result of an Affidavit Warrant pickup at the aforementioned address. Izzo was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, summonsed and released, according to Cranston Police.

WARRANT ARREST

Around 4 p.m., Oct. 11, Cranston Police Officers arrested Susan Laferriere, 61, of 80 Waterman Ave., Cranston, for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant from the Warren Police Department as a result of a traffic stop on Cranston Street. Laferriere was turned over to the Warren Police Department.

DUI

At 10:30 p.m., Oct. 11, Cranston Police Officers arrested Frederick Pace, 75, of 44 Archer Ave., Johnston, for DUI (first offense, BAC unknown) as a result of a crash investigation at the Cranston Senior Center, 1070 Cranston St. Pace was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, summonsed and released, according to Cranston Police.

BENCH WARRANT

Around 11 a.m., Oct. 10, Cranston Police Officers arrested Christopher Burns, 31, of 22 Cooke Place Warwick, for an outstanding 6th District Court bench warrant. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cranston Street and Weston Avenue. Burns was transported to 6th District Court.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT

Around 2:15 p.m., Oct. 10, Cranston Police Officers arrested Kristopher Richardson, 41, of 65 Rose St., Cranston, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct.

At the same time, Cranston Police reported that officers also arrested Jamie Tebano, 39, of 65 Rose St. Cranston, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct.

The arrests were the result of a lobby complaint at Cranston Police Headquarters. Richardson and Tebano were awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

LARCENY

At 11:15 a.m., Oct. 9, Cranston Police Officers arrested Johsua Christopher Suazo Avalo, 24, of 421 Public St., Providence, for Larceny Over $1500. “The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop, FLOCK hit,” according to Cranston Police, at the intersection of Richland Road and Reservoir Avenue. Avalo was awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

BREAKING & ENTERING

At 12:40 p.m., Oct. 9, Cranston Police Officers arrested Enrique Arias, 38, of 51 Thackery St., Apt. 2, Providence, for one count of Breaking & Entering into a Dwelling House without Consent and one count of Conspiracy. “The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop, FLOCK hit, at 30 Beech Ave.,” according to Cranston Police. Arias was awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

BURGLARY, FELONY ASSAULT & CONSPIRACY

Around 7:16 a.m., Oct. 8, Cranston Police Officers arrested Lorenzo Roman, 18, of 66 Gansett Ave., Cranston, for Burglary, Felony Assault and Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of a Cranston Police Department warrant and pickup. Roman was transported to 3rd District Court.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT ON A PERSON OVER 60

Around 8:40 a.m., Oct. 8, Cranston Police Officers arrested Gage Cate, 34, of 42 Blue Gentian Road, Cranston, for Domestic Assault on a Person Over 60 and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a Cranston Police Department “warrant and (the) subject turning themselves in,” according to Cranston Police. Cate was transported to 3rd District Court.

RESISTING ARREST & DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Around 9:55 a.m., Oct. 8, Cranston Police Officers arrested Courtney Caranci, 18, of 7 Melton St., Cranston, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 7 Melton St. Caranci was transported to 3rd District Court.

SIMPLE ASSAULT OR BATTERY

At 3:18 p.m., Oct. 7, Cranston Police Officers arrested Frank Gelfuso Jr., 50, of 33 Plantation Drive, Cranston, for Simple Assault or Battery. Arrest is the result of a call for service at Blue Moon, 42 Phenix Ave. Gelfuso was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released, according to Cranston Police.

SIMPLE ASSAULT OR BATTERY & DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 5:26 p.m., Oct. 7, Cranston Police Officers arrested Dino Gaglione, 59, of 50 Birch St., Apt. 1007, Cranston, for Simple Assault or Battery and Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 50 Birch St. Gaglione was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 7:14 p.m., Oct. 7, Cranston Police Officers arrested Michael Hill, 19, of 44 Randall St., Cranston, for Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Disorderly Conduct, and two counts of Simple Assault or Battery. The arrest was the result of a pickup at Providence Police Headquarters. Hill was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

DOMESTIC FELONY ASSAULT

Around 11:55 p.m., Oct. 5, Cranston Police Officers arrested Chloe Massie, 28, of 165 Second Ave., Cranston, for domestic felony assault. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned location. Massie was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

DUI

At 1:03 a.m., Sept. 6, Warwick Police Offer Andrew J. Chretien was on routine patrol in the area of 500 Greenwhich Ave. when he spotted a white Subaru pass by at an alleged “high rate of speed” traveling north.

“In order to catch up to vehicle I had to accelerate to approximately 65mph,” Chretien wrote in the arrest report. “Once behind the vehicle I observed both of its passenger side tires to cross completely over the solid white fog line on the right side of the road.”

He lit the overhead lights and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle made a turn onto Knight Street where it came to a slow stop.

Police identified the driver as Chelsea A. Debellis, 29, of 97 Eldridge St., Cranston. According to the arrest report, she had “bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech.”

Police asked Debellis to consent to a series of standardized field sobriety tests. She agreed.

Following the tests, she was asked to take a breath test at the scene. According to police, she consented, and blew a 0.14 at the scene. She was taken into custody and transported back to Warwick Police Headquarters.

At the station, she was seated next to the Intoxylizer 9000 and asked if she’d like to make a confidential phone call. She refused. Police said she also “refused to provide a breath sample” at headquarters.

Debellis was charged with DUI of Liquor (BAC unknown) and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test (first offense).
