Virginia M. (Yaremchoak) McCormick, 64, passed away February 1, 2012. She was the wife of the late David T. McCormick.
Born in Providence, she was daughter of the late George and Virginia (Baggesen) Yaremchoak. She had graduated from Hope High School and worked at Amica Insurance, Federal Products, National Chain and the Providence Journal.
She was the loving mother of Virginia L. Marsella and her husband, Stephen, David T. McCormick Jr. and his wife, Lynn, George E. McCormick and Patrick J. McCormick; and devoted grandmother of Patrick, Kaelyn, Riley and Dylan.
Her funeral service will be held Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m. in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Feb. 3 from 4-8 p.m. For information and condolences visit www.thequinnfuneralhome.com.
